Introduction Three weeks ago, I briefly talked about, in takumi333's thread, of another Eurobeat project: Scanning. That's a huge undertaking because hardly anybody has a scanner. So, how big the scanning catalog will be will also reflect how much people are willing to invest time, effort and money into it. A lot of eurobeat archivist out there are reluctant to rip Eurobeat CDs they own for various reasons but I believe that scanning is another story: they rarely, if ever, get brought down for copyright or is subject to copyright debates.

That's why I believe this project will concern a more wider eurobeat audience. Goals SPOILER. This project has multiple goals. The first goal, the most important goal of this project, is preservation. We want the artwork of Super Eurobeat, other series or random releases to be remembered in the future, for people to see, to imagine what the actual product looked like as accurately as possible.

Then, it brings us to our second goal: quality. I don't ask for the perfect quality but when people will look at them, they'll see that the scans were done with care. Our third goal is to replace the horrible horrible gensek scans which has multiple item by platters, no care for quality, crooked, etc.

Needless to say, we expect you to NOT share these here. Guidelines SPOILER.

A project like of of these needs its guideline so we have a framework of what to do. Needless-to-say, not following the guidelines means that I will not add the scans to this post for archival. So, when you do something, you do it right! The next section includes tips so meeting these requirements seems trivial.

The scans MUST BE YOUR OWN. Not taken from the internet or unknown sources. We expect you to be honest about this. Do not take photos. They really really far from the same fidelity as a scan.

Even with a professional camera and lenses. • 2.1 If the item does not fit on the platter of a scanner, then, exceptionally, the item can be photographed. You must scan at 400ppp and up.

One item by image. The resulting scans need to be cropped so only the scanned subject is remaining. While cropping remove the minimum possible without seeing empty spaces around it. All text needs to be easily be read. • 6.1 In some cases where the text can hardly be read because of the colors (ie. White text on light pink), is acceptable but please mention so.

• 6.2 If blur is present on one of the scans, if major enough, it may be trumped/replaced by a scan set that doesn't have blur or less blurry. Glare in booklet scans () is acceptable because we cannot reliably perfectly avoid it. Applying pressure on this area helps reducing glare. Overly or noticeably crooked items, including discs, are not acceptable. It is normal to see in the scan if we zoom the picture enough. However, an overabundance of it will make you scan set trumpable by a better scan set of the same album. A scan of the matrixes of the CDs and DVDs are not necessary but welcome.

It is not necessary because of the inevitable fact that said matrixes are sometimes very are to read and we do not expect scanners to be able to catch these matrixes. Especially the IFPI mould code. Sleek bill 2.3 5 license key crack. A huge majority of Japanese releases come with an (). We still accept scans missing the obi strip. However, if somebody has the obi, their scans will trump the old scans, being more complete.
