Uniross Photo Battery Charger Instructions

This seems to be a reoccuring theme, but how good is the Uniross charger? Sistema testirovaniya midot projti test onlajn free. I live in the UK and am looking for a 2000mAh battery charger.

Andy - if you want a GOOD charger you've got to be prepared generally to pay for it. My advice is steer clear of the type (such as the Uniross) that charge a 2000mA batt set in an hour or so. Betcha you'll find when you pull the batteries out they're quite warm - that's simply because ANY overcharge can only be dissipated by the batteries giving off heat.

A GOOD charger will be controlled (microprocessot type the best) so that yoiu get a regulated charge and one that literally measures the current flow to the correct level then cuts off - AND does it in a slow time if it needs to. If you don't mind the price (but you ARE getting a virtual lifetime charger of quality) then I would recommend you consider the ANSMAN microprocessed controlled - called ANSMAN Traveller because it comes with about 3 different adaptors to use in any country, not only UK type sockets. It's dear at about £55 and very few sellers (probably because most just buy a charger and couldn't care about quality ) One seller is - (excellent firm). Another I saw advertised just about a week ago but cannot for the life of me recall who or where.except it was something like '.Batteries' - maybe somebody knows who I mean and can refresh my mind.

But PLEASE - do not buy a cheapie. Next best and a VERY good buy (I use one and it's been excellent ) is the VANSON V-1268N. It's controlled (definitely, although it doesn't say it as microprocessor). Each cell is charged individually with a red LED for each (you can do any number, not just pairs or 4) and it will do a discharge first if you wish.all for around £15.and that IS worth a look if you don't want to go to upper limits EJN Andy Troup wrote: This seems to be a reoccuring theme, but how good is the Uniross charger? Does anyone know which is the best for your 'gawd bless you ma'am' pound?? Cheers, Andy. Andy Troup wrote: This seems to be a reoccuring theme, but how good is the Uniross charger? Cheers, Andy Andy, If you're referring to the model AAB01690 fast-charger, then I can say that it seems to work well. Charges 4x1800mAh batteries in under 2 hours. However, the 'fast-charger' that I use most of the time is the Vanson Ultra-Fast Model V-1000 (bought in Maplins). This smartcharger also charges 2 or 4 batteries (Ni-MH or Ni-Cd); 4 batteries in under 2 hours.

Are the batteries hot at the end of the charge? Are the batteries damaged? No sign of it yet.
