Pirating intellectual property is not the same as violating a company's terms of service. The former has a chance of landing you in jail, the latter could at most result in a civil suit with a fine (in the USA anyway).

Piracy goes directly against the forum rules. Violating a TOS does not.

Luckily this greatly simplifies what you as a poster needs to remember about piracy and this forum. Piracy is simply theft. Don't talk about stealing something, whether you've done it, or are going to do it.

If you have obtained what you're talking about in a way the law would consider stealing, you're violating the piracy rule. Talking about violating a company's TOS with your legally obtained equipment and software does not violate this rule.

To answer a common question on botched installs; NO you do not have to undo anything. As long as your Wii is still (mostly) functional, find some help, start the modding process over. You (almost) never need to undo what you've already done. Un-modding your Wii Simply put; No. It can be done to an extent, but there are some things you will never undo.

If you want to un-mod your Wii because your current mod job is causing problems, find a better tutorial, start over. Is a fabulous wiki about all things modding for your Wii. So I followed complete softmod guide and seem to be able to run any wii title from wiiflow except for this one: get a whit screen freeze after pressing 2. Googling around I found this to be a somewhat commo issue with this game as well as some references to run it with cios 250.

But I already have this AFACT and I have it selected at wiflow's game config. Any clue what I could try next? Can SysCheck be run on a wiiu or is there a better by to find what is actually installed on the wii? Syscheck Hacksden Edition should run on vWii. Configurable USB loader also shows the relevant cIOSs in its settings. Either way, this game has a special kind of protection dubbed Metafortress. Basically, it detects if the game has been modified and if so it will hang like you've been getting.

You should make sure that you have all patches and everything disabled. Go into the game's settings and make sure everything is set to 'default', 'off', 'auto', etc. It also seems this game doesn't like being loaded from SD card, so try a USB device. As long as the cIOS is up to date (which it should be if you followed the CSG) that shouldn't be the problem.
