I really like the game overall, but the mission Don't Look Down was terrible. Some spoilers ahead, so read at your own risk. After I got the first part of the grappling hook, a demon in the prison spotted me and started chasing after me. Since Ajay had no weapons, I was forced to walk away from him while continuously healing myself. Once I got out of the first part of the prison, the demon stopped chasing me and went back to whatever it had been doing before. The same thing happened in the second part of the prison.

Once I got down to the lower section of the mission, I picked up some throwing knives from the dead body there. I learned the hard way that the throwing knives didn't always kill enemies in one hit. And since I didn't have the kukri, they were my only weapon. I died several times on the first section after being detected and running out of ammunition for the weapons that I had stolen from guards.

Stealth would have been easier if I had been able to simply stab enemies with the throwing knives instead of relying on them as throwing weapons. Eventually, I made it through the first part. I was armed with an assault rifle, submachine gun, and a handgun, and I only had about half a magazine of ammo for each weapon. I climbed up the outside of the bell tower and used a throwing knife to kill the sniper at the top. I saw that there was a zipline to the second section, so I used that. I thought that the game would not drop me in front of a bunch of enemies since it had never done that before, but I was wrong.

After the enemies at the bottom detected me, I quickly ran out of ammunition and was killed by guard dogs. When the game loaded the last checkpoint, I had full ammo for all of the weapons that I had been carrying. I also found the weapon stockpile in the bell tower. From that point on, I was completely overpowered. I used the weapons that I had found in the bell tower to kill all the remaining guards, then blew a massive hole in the gate and walked out.

Overall, this entire mission felt poorly done to me. It would have been much better if I could silently stab enemies with the throwing knives, and also if the zipline didn't drop me in front of a bunch of enemies. I just finished the mission A Key to the North, and so far this has been the worst mission in the entire game for me. Mmmh, I don't feel that way.

I'm on PC and my skills trees are almost maxed. I don't mean to be snobish, but it felt quite easy to me for this kind of mission.

In the prison I outran the guards when they spotted me. In the mine camp, you also can attract them away with rocks and aim for the head, wait for the heavy guards to move, etc.

Just need to play it like a good old stealth ninja. The same happened to me with the zipline on the first run, but it felt like a mix of a troll from the game and a bitter reminder of 'Dude you really thought they wouldn't spot you when it's their job and it's a really tight spot'.

I ended up wrecking them from above. To me the only bugging thing was having all the ammo after the checkpoint reload. Honnestly you seem a bit in a 'one-way' thinking when you speak about it, almost like it's a railshooting session. Though you still have most of the same freedom of action then in the rest of the game.

Look around the rooms to collect some money and items which you can sell later on. Begin your exploration with reading a note which you can find on the same floor on which you will start to play. You also should loot the nearby chest to collect some money and items which you can sell later on.
