Hi, I have a usb Bluetooth Dongle Manufactured by: Accel Semiconductor Corp, Chip by: Cambridge Silicon Radio. It was working alright with my windows xp and vista PC. I upgraded to windows 7 and when I plugged in the Bluetooth dongle- system identified and installed the driver from windows update.
I can see the bluetooth icon on the task bar but when I try to add a device, windows is not able to find it. I have tried my best but I think it is not working with windows 7. I had no problems with it when I was using it with vista.
Can someone help me with this issue. Hi, Thanks for the post!
You can check the compatibility in. According to your description, it seems like the Bluetooth Dongle is compatible with Windows 7, however, the device you want to connect is not. Please try another Bluetooth device to see if it works. If work, you need to check the compatibility of the former device and download the proper driver.
If not, we need more research. Please feel free to give me any update. Best Regards, Miya Yao This posting is provided 'AS IS' with no warranties, and confers no rights.
